New Hampshire State Police Arrest Wrong-Way Driver On I-93

CANTERBURY, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — New Hampshire State Police arrested a wrong-way driver traveling southbound in the northbound lanes on I-93 in Canterbury, New Hampshire Friday evening.

State police said they received multiple reports of a driver going the wrong way on I-93 at around 11:51 p.m. Friday.

A trooper stopped the car and arrested the driver, identified as Zachary William Bunker, 40, of Gilford, New Hampshire, police said.

Officials said Bunker was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, driving while intoxicated, and reckless driving.

Bunker is scheduled to appear in Merrimack Superior Court on Tuesday.
