BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new TikTok challenge is sweeping the nation, leaving a trail of injured people in its wake. It's called the "Milk Crate Challenge," and it involves walking up a high, pyramid-shaped stack of milk crates and getting to the other side. It might seem easy, but it usually ends in someone getting seriously hurt.
WBZ's Matt Shearer talked to Shauntica Williams of Ohio, one of the very few brave souls to make it across the 6-foot pile of wobbly crates.
'"I saw everybody doing it and I figure, "why not?"'
She made it down as her friends cheered her on, on her first try.
But now that she's done it, Williams is warning people not to try this at home:
"I just keep seeing people messing themselves up...I think they need to come up with another challenge or something," she said.
