CONCORD, New Hampshire (WBZ NewsRadio 1030) — New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu said on CNN that he will be making his decision whether to run for president as the Republican nominee "in the next week or two.”
The New Hampshire centrist has been positioning himself as someone who can unify and reach across the aisle.
He’s been attacking the Republican front-runner former President Donald Trump but so far has not made any announcement about his intentions as a presidential candidate.
But now he’s saying that decision could be made within the next couple of weeks. “Pretty soon we’ll be making a decision,” he said. “Probably in the next week or two, and we’ll be either go or no go.”
Sununu said Donald Trump has failed to deliver on his promises. “Draining the swamp which I was told was going to happen never happened a bit,” he said. He added that other areas Trump has ‘failed’ include securing the border and showing fiscal discipline.
