MANCHESTER, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Manchester Police are searching for a man who allegedly had a machete with him and sexually assaulted a woman as she slept on Friday morning.
At around 9:10 a.m., a caller reported to Manchester Police that his girlfriend had woken up to a man assaulting her, and that the suspect had a machete. The victim was able to get away and run from the apartment on Auburn Street.
Manchester Police are still actively searching for this person, and said this does appear to be a random incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, skinny, in his 30’s with an afro. He was last seen wearing a green or black shirt and shorts.
