BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Following a four-win 2023-24 campaign, the New England Patriots are undergoing their yearly metamorphosis.

The team reunited with quarterback Jacoby Brissett on March 11. He signed a one-year deal just one day after the Patriots announced they planned to send Mac Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

New England also signed free agent tight end Austin Hooper to a one-year deal and locked up edge rusher Josh Uche for another season.

Despite these roster moves, some Patriots fans told WBZ NewsRadio's Chris Fama the team has not done enough this offseason.

"If it was a dessert, it would be plain tapioca: no flavor," one fan said.

For some, Tom Brady-era habits die hard, even when their team is struggling.

"If I wasn't a sadistic person I probably wouldn't watch next year, but I'm going to torture myself and watch another four-win team," another fan said.
