NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Don't worry—it's just a costume.
That's what Northbridge, Massachusetts Police are telling worried parents who may have spotted a man dressed as killer Michael Myers from the "Halloween" horror series near North Main and Crescent Streets.
Police said they talked to the man and have determined he's not a threat.
"We have spoken with the Halloween enthusiast," the department wrote on their Facebook page. "He states he has done this every Halloween for the past 10 years. He walks his child to / from school. He does NOT step foot on school property and he does not engage conversation with any child or other adult."
However, the department did say officers would be in the area of nearby Balmer Elementary School at dismissal time.
