NORWOOD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Norwood firefighters put out a small roof fire at Moderna’s Technology center that broke out early Wednesday morning.
At about 6:00 a.m., crews responded to Moderna’s Technology Center East building located at 1 Investors Way for a report of a roof fire. The building is currently unoccupied and under construction.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the roof area of the building and worked to keep it from spreading. The fire was largely put out by around 8:00 a.m. and the scene was cleared just before 8:30 a.m. No injuries were reported.

The Westwood and Walpole Fire Departments assisted in efforts as well. Norwood Fire Department is investigating the fire but believe it could have been accidental.
