One Injured In Weare, New Hampshire Explosions

WEARE, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) —The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is investigating two explosions in Weare, New Hampshire on Thursday. ATF said one person was injured in one of the explosions.

Details were scare, but the agency did provide a timeline.

The first blast went off at about 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday night near 362 Dustin Tavern Road in Weare. No one was injured in that explosion.

The second explosion went off about twelve hours later at 6:50 a.m., at 16 Sugar Hill Road. The two locations are about eight miles apart. One passerby was lightly injured in the second explosion.

ATF and local police are still trying to figure out if the two explosions are related, or even what caused them.

New Hampshire State Police said there's no known ongoing threat to public safety, but there may be traffic problems around the explosion sites.
