QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 62-year-old man has died after being struck by an SUV in Quincy early Saturday morning.
According to Quincy Police, the crash happened in the area of Newport Avenue and Oakland Avenue at around 1:50 a.m, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The driver, identified as a 21-year-old Quincy man, and his passenger, a 20-year-old Quincy woman, stayed on scene after the incident and spoke to responding officers.
Officials are still investigating, and have notified the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.
