BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A collection of online searches indicates Massachusetts that residents are the most obsessed about fitness in the country.
According to PriceListo, Massachusetts was ranked first as the most fitness-obsessed state with over 700,000 workout-related searches online per month over the past year. The most searched term was "Planet Fitness," the gym chain. WBZ's James Rojas spoke to a few residents at the gym about how the culture of exercise differs in the Commonwealth.

"People are also nice too, they're going to show you what to do if you're not confident," one resident said.
"I think because the weather changes, in the winter you get fat, and in the summer you try to lose some weight to look good," said another resident named
Colorado and New York were right behind, coming in as the second and third most fitness-obsessed states respectively.
