TOPSFIELD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The annual Topsfield Fair kicks off Friday Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. with the 41st Annual All New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off, one of the fair's most popular events.

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdale horses will also be in attendance on Friday.

This year’s fair runs from Oct. 3-13. Entertainment ranges from horse shows to a hot dog eating contest.

Musical performances throughout the week include Sammy Kershaw, Frankie Avalon, and an unofficial tribute to Taylor Swift.

In addition to the family-friendly entertainment, food vendors from across New England will line up at the fair, including BBQ and sweets.

Admission tickets can be purchased on the Topsfield Fair website for $23, while children 8 and under are admitted for free.
