An Orchard In Douglas Offers Pavilion For Weddings

DOUGLAS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — During the pandemic, many churches and hall have been closed and weddings have either been postponed or moved to Zoom calls.

However, Douglas Orchard and Farm in central Massachusetts is in business.

Aaron Socrat, the orchard's owner, spoke with WBZ NewsRadio's Carl Stevens. He says the orchard is a great location for a wedding and he's even booked a few already.

"The actual ceremony at the farm is with their immediate families and a smaller group, with social distancing, with masks," Socrat said. "[We're] doing it a healthy, safe, and legal way."

There is a fee for using the outdoor pavilion.
