Over 100 Firefighters Climb The Stairs Of Fenway For ‘Fight for Air Climb’

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Hundreds of people climbed the steps of Fenway Park Saturday morning to raise money for lung disease.

Fight for Air Climb helps raise money for the the American Lung Association.

Participants completed an over one-thousand step 'Climb course' around Fenway Park. The event was timed by RaceWire.

Over 100 firefighters competed in the Firefighter Division. In full gear, the firefighters hiked the steps.

Various awards were handed out at the end of the course to celebrate those who performed well.

Those who attended the event were encouraged to raise at least $100. The American Lung Association's goal is to raise over $200-thousand from this event.
