BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — More than 50 people in Boston have been displaced after a fire broke out at a residential building behind Fenway Park.
Boston Fire Department responded to reports of a fire at 1191 Boylston St. at around 1 a.m. Sunday morning. The fire had broken out on the top floor of the 5-story building.
According to Boston Fire Dept., residents were kept safe and warm on MBTA buses while firefighters knocked down the flames. The damages are estimated at around a million dollars.
One resident was transported to a local hospital. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
