BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Panda Fest made its Boston debut this weekend in City Hall Plaza.

Attendees indulged in over 300 food trucks and stalls serving dishes from Thailand, China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and more.

The festival has already been a success with tickets selling out an hour into the first day and ticket holders giving glowing reviews.

"I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of good food options. You know like savory food, desserts, drinks, live music was nice," said one person at the festival.

The outdoor extravaganza also features merchandise vendors inspired by Asian culture, live performances, and traditional craft demonstrations.

The outdoor celebration launched last year in New York City and arrives just in time for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Sunday is the last day to visit what is being marketed as one of the biggest outdoor Asian food festivals in the U.S. but attendees are already looking forward to Panda Fest 2026.

"There are so many vendors, the food is delicious. Oh my God, definitely coming back next year," said another person at the festival.
