BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A number of parking bans are in effect while Sunday's snowstorm works through Mass.
The National Weather Service (NWS) said that a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for most of the Commonwealth from 4:00 P.M. on Saturday to 1:00 A.M. on Monday. Parts of central and northern Mass. are expected to receive between 8 to 12 inches and Boston is projected to get 6 to 8 inches of snow. A Winter Storm Advisory is in effect for the South Shore, Cape and Islands, as rain will mix in with the snow to lower the totals.
Here's where citywide and townwide parking bans are in effect:
Attleboro: 12:00 P.M. on Saturday through 8:00 A.M. on Monday.
Belmont: 11:45 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
Chelmsford: 12:00 P.M. on Saturday through 6:00 A.M. on Monday.
Fall River: 12:00 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
Fitchburg: 3:00 P.M. on Saturday though 7:00 A.M. on Monday.
Lowell: 6:00 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
Manchester-By-The-Sea: 10:00 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
Milford: 6:00 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
Worcester: 10:00 P.M. on Saturday until further notice.
