ACTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — What started as a hobby for Mandy Roberge in 2006 has turned into a full time gig.

She’s the owner of Acton’s ‘Wicked Good Henna.’

Henna is temporary body art by staining the skin using dyes from the henna plant.

Mandy was doing henna art for people as a hobby.

But she says that she soon started getting more requests than she could handle and made the decision to go full-time. “People started asking me can you do this event, can you come to this party,” she said. “My phone wouldn’t stop ringing, so I made the decision to give it my all, and the rest is sort of history.”

WBZ’s Kim Tunnicliffe (@KimWBZ) reports.
