Parts Of MBTA Red Line Will Be Closed Through July 28 For Track Work

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Parts of the MBTA Red Line will be closed through July 28 for track work.

On Friday July 12, shuttle buses will replace service between Alewife and Kendall from 8:15 p.m. to the end of service, according to the MBTA.

For the weekends of July 13-14 and July 27-28, shuttle buses will replace service between Alewife and JFK/UMass for the entire day. A shuttle transfer will be available at Park St.

From July 15-26, shuttle buses will replace service between Alewife and Kendall/MIT. Shuttles will then extend to Park St. at 8:30 p.m. on weekdays, and all day on weekends.
