Patriots Cancel 2nd In-Person Practice Following Positive COVID-19 Tests

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — In-person practice for the New England Patriots was cancelled Thursday after cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. This is the second day in a row that in-person practice was cancelled.

This is the third person with the Patriots to be impacted by coronavirus.

Quarterback Cam Newton tested positive over the weekend. Practice squad defensive tackle Bill Murray was placed on the Patriots' COVID-19 reserve list on Tuesday, according to WBZ-TV.

The NFL says the Patriots will still be playing their Week 5 game against the Broncos this Sunday.
