FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Thousands of fans showed up at Gillette Stadium to see the New England Patriots at their first training camp session Wednesday.

Quarterback Mac Jones worked out on the field with his team as fans looked on.

"I'm just a big fan of the team," Seth, a Patriots fan who drove from Virginia, told WBZ NewsRadio. "We've been going here for about six, seven years now."

Jones did not sign any autographs for fans, though other Patriots players did.

"I got Jakobi Meyers and I got Nelson Agholor to tell me he loves me," one fan told WBZ.

The Patriots will play their first preseason game against the New York Giants on Aug. 11 in Foxborough.
