FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The New England Patriots will induct Super Bowl Champion Wide Receiver Julian Edelman and former Head Coach Bill Parcells into its team Hall of Fame Saturday.
The ceremony begins at 4pm at the Patriot Place Plaza, just outside the Patriots Hall of Fame. The event is free and open to the public, and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and celebrate the two Patriot icons.
Edelman was selected by a fan vote back in May, making him the 37th inductee into the Patriots Hall of Fame. Edelman spent his entire 12-year career with the team after being drafted in the seventh round in 2009. Edelman won three Super Bowls with the team and was named MVP of Super Bowl LIII. Edelman ranks third all-time in playoff receptions and receiving yards in NFL Playoffs history.
In April, Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced that Bill Parcells will be inducted into the 2025 Patriots Hall of Fame class. Parcells was hired to be the Patriots Head Coach in 1993 and is largely credited for beginning the successful turnaround for the franchise. Parcells coached the team for four seasons and lead the team to Super Bowl XXXI during the 1996 season.
Fans that cannot attend the ceremony can stream it live on Patriots.com and the team’s social media accounts.
