Brady, Edelman, McCourty Twins Welcome Mohamed Sanu To Patriots

Los Angeles Rams v Atlanta Falcons

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Fresh off a dominant 33-0 performance against the Jets on Monday night, the Patriots have reportedly added help at wide receiver.

Mohamed Sanu has been acquired from the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for a second-round pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick would not confirm Sanu's acquisition.

Sanu had 313 yards and one touchdown on 33 catches before the trade this year. He tallied a career-high 838 yards last season.

The 30-year-old veteran entered the NFL in the 2012 draft after playing under Greg Schiano at Rutgers alongside New England's Devin and Jason McCourty, and Duron Harmon.

Several Pats players welcomed their new teammate on Twitter Tuesday.

The Patriots play the 2-4 Browns next Sunday, October 27.
