FOXBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Patriots are in the basement of the AFC East, and they face off against the Buffalo Bills at Gillette on Thursday Night Football. The Pats have a 6-5 record after a tough, if competitive, loss to the Vikings on Thanksgiving.
They'll be facing star wide receiver Stephon Diggs, quarterback Josh Allen, and a stout defense that's 5th in the league for least points allowed — right above the 6th-ranked Patriots.
For injuries, offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn and running back Damien Harris are both out, while O-line anchor David Andrews and wide receiver Jacoby Meyers are questionable to play. Cornerback Jalen Mills is questionable on the defensive side of the ball, as is corner Marcus Jones.
Veteran OLB Von Miller is out for the Bills, while Josh Allen is playing hurt with a right elbow injury but fully participated in practice all week.
There is one caveat for the game: the Bills have faced two AFC East teams so far this season, and lost both games. Kickoff is at 8:15 PM.
