NASHUA, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — New Hampshire fire officials are investigating after a home in Nashua was engulfed in flames the day after Christmas.
Six fire engines and two ladder trucks from the Nashua Fire Department responded to the blaze on Conant Road late Saturday evening, where they found heavy fire showing from the 2.5 story single-family split-level home.
"Crews stretched numerous hose lines to extinguish the fire," NFD said. "Heavy Smoke and fire damage occurred throughout the building."
Officials said two adults and two children had already self-evacuated before firefighters arrived on scene.
The two-alarm fire was extinguished quickly and no injuries were reported, but photos show the family's home was left severely damaged and charred.
As of Sunday morning, the cause of the fire was still under investigation by the City of Nashua Fire Marshal’s office.
The Red Cross was called to help the family displaced by the fire.
