Pirate Spotting: A Captain Jack Sparrow Impersonator In Woburn

WOBURN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The ultimate irreverent trickster pirate of the Caribbean can be seen in...Woburn?

Dressed in full "Pirates of the Caribbean's" Jack Sparrow attire— a white long sleeve loose polo that is only buttoned halfway, a dark blue vest, along with a long brown pirate coat and greyish blue pants— Rex Vargas struts the streets of Woburn.

Vargas told WBZ NewsRadio's Matt Shearer (@MattWBZ) that he spends a majority of his free time in full costume.

He claimed that the people of Woburn love what he does and frequently take photos with him.

"So if I can do that then it makes me happy and makes the town happy, then fine and dandy."

The Jack Sparrow impersonator is also available for events, parties, festivals and parades.
