BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Customers may feel like they're traveling back in time when they walk through the doors at the Pleasant Cafe in Roslindale, a quality that has attracted a slew of Hollywood filmmakers.
"We're not trying to be retro; a lot of places try to be retro in this day and age like it was in the late 50's and early 60's," said one of Pleasant Cafe's owners, John Morgan.

Though cafe co-owners John and Johnny Morgan could not divulge much detail into what movies were filmed in their restaurant, WBZ's Karyn Regal reported that some scenes in the new The Boston Strangler were filmed inside the Pleasant Cafe.
