PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Plymouth Fire Department responded to a fatal crash on Monday afternoon off of Route 3.
Around 1 p.m., authorities reported a woman crashed near the Jordan Road overpass into the Eel River.
The woman was driving southbound when her car went off the road.

Officials said she died at the scene. No other cars were involved.
While crews work to remove her car from the river, part of Route 3 southbound will be closed.
