Police Arrest Suspect In Cambridge Burglary

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Cambridge have arrested a suspect in a burglary at a home early Saturday morning.

A resident of the the home "reported they were woken by a strange male in their bedroom," police said.

A neighbor saw the man as he fled the house, and described him to authorities. Another neighbor's home surveillance equipment captured the suspect — a picture of which was given to police.

Authorities identified the suspect as 25-year-old Leo Vincent Chaisson, of Brighton, and arrested him around 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Chaisson is expected to be charged with unarmed burglary and larceny.

The incident is currently under investigation.
