MEHTUEN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Methuen have arrested a man they say is a suspect in connection to a Concord, N.H. stabbing death.

Joseph Hanright, 29, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in Methuen on unrelated charges.

On Friday, authorities found 64-year-old Marshall Villeneuve dead in his home with multiple stab wounds.

Methuen Police attempted to arrest Hanright near Swan Street on Saturday, but he escaped from a car.

Authorities began searching for Hanright, who was described to not be wearing a shirt, and possibly no shoes. He was apprehended on Sunday.

Hanright is also facing separate charges in Methuen, including possession of a stolen motor vehicle and resisting arrest.
