Police Arrest Suspect In Manchester-By-The-Sea Stabbing

MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police have arrested have a suspect in custody after a Sunday stabbing in a seaside North Shore town.

Manchester Police said they got a call about a man that had been stabbed at about 8:00 PM Sunday night around the town's downtown area, on North and School streets.

Officers arrived to find a man in his thirties with several stab wounds. The man was rushed to the hospital, but the wounds don't appear to be life-threatening.

Police in Revere later arrested a suspect later on Sunday. Manchester Police said they think the stabbing took place inside a car as it was leaving Masconomo Park, around a quarter mile from where he was found.

Authorities are still investigating, but said they will release the suspects name and charges on Monday.
