Police Identify Man Wanted For Car Break-Ins

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Attleboro police have identified a suspect wanted for a string of car break-ins.

"Nicholas Grant presently has an active warrant for his arrest," Attleboro police said. "Further charges are being sought relative to the string of thefts/attempted thefts in South Attleboro in recent weeks."

Grant allegedly failed to stop for police on July 18th while driving a gray Mazda, and is charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Police say the the thefts happened between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. near Holly Street in South Attleboro by a man using a gray Mazda.
