BOLTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 73-year-old woman who was fatally injured while handling a "comfort animal" at a local farm has been identified by Police.

Bolton Police told WBZ NewsRadio that Kim Taylor of Wellesley was a longtime volunteer at the farm. She was caring for livestock alone in a pen at about 9:00 AM on Saturday when police say a sheep repeatedly charged her, causing extensive, serious injuries. Police said Taylor went into cardiac arrest shortly after they arrived on scene — she was rushed to Marlborough Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Cultivate Care Farms uses "Farm-Based Therapy" to rehabilitate its patients, according to its website.

Bolton Animal Control is working with the farm to decide what to do with the sheep.
