Police Investigating After 3 Wounded In Fall River Shooting

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Fall River are investigating after three people were wounded in a shooting late Sunday night.

The shooting happened around 11:15 p.m. onTremont Street. Police responded following reports of multiple gunshots were heard in the area.

Police said they also found nine 7.62 caliber shell casings in the area of 164 Tremont St.

The victims of the shooting — two men and one woman — were found in a car on Columbia Street.

Those three people were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, however police said the injuries are "non-life threatening."
