BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) —Police are investigating after a Boston fire struck crashed through a Bank of America in Dorchester early Thursday morning.
The truck went into the Bank of America on Washington Street and Talbot Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
Police said the fire truck was involved in a crash with another car, which was being driven by an off-duty Boston Police officer. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Four Boston firefighters were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
It’s not clear where the fire truck was going. But, nearby, Charlie’s House of Pizza caught fire around the same time.
