AYER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Ayer are investigating after a man reportedly tried to kidnap a child Monday afternoon.
The attempted abduction happened around 3:30 p.m. on Littleton Road when a white man — described as balding with a short black beard — offered a child money to get into a tan car with him.
The Ayer Police Department said that they want "all citizens to be aware of this report so as to keep extra eyes out on the children in their neighborhoods."
