HIGHAM Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police on the South Shore are investigating after thieves stole iPhones off residents' doorsteps in two separate incidents in Hingham.
The first incident happened on May 30 when a package containing an iPhone and Air Pods were stolen 10 seconds after it was delivered to a house on Bel Air Road.
Surveillance footage showed two men wearing blue Amazon vests carrying an empty box to the front porch of that house and taking two other boxes. They drove off in a black Jeep Patriot with black rims, according to police.
The second incident in Hingham took place on July 3. Five iPhones were delivered to a house on Daley Road and were stolen minutes later. Police said they do not have a description of the suspect or the vehicle in the second crime.
The two thefts remain under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Hingham Police Department at (781) 741-1443.
