BROCKTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two people were wounded after a shooting outside a Brockton courthouse Monday, police said.
Brockton police said it happened outside Brockton District Court on Main Street around 12:30 p.m.
Police said the two victims are a female with non-life-threatening injuries and a male whose condition is currently being assessed.
Two suspects are in custody and a gun has been recovered, officials said.
Following the shooting, a stay-in-place order was put into effect in the area of Brockton City Hall, the Brockton Public School Central building, the Board of Health building, and the War Memorial, but it has since been lifted.
An investigation is ongoing.
