Police Launch Homicide Investigation Into Fall River Shooting, DA Says

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — An investigation has been launched after the man shot at the intersection of Nashua St. and Blackstone St. in Fall River on Feb. 9 died on Feb. 15, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.

District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn's office launched an "active and ongoing" homicide investigation on Friday alongside the Mass. State Police and the Fall River Police Department.

Joshua Medeiros, 34, of Fall River died at Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, according to a press release.
