Police Officer Struck During Funeral Procession In Hull

HULL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Hull Police say a police officer on a motorcycle was struck during a funeral procession Sunday afternoon.

A 68-year-old man driving a pickup truck hit the motorcycle around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Nantasket Aveue and K Street.

The officer was headed to Hull Village Cemetery with the funeral procession when he was hit.

The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The incident is under investigation.
