Police Recover 67 Canisters Of Nitrous At Phish Concert

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — When Phish fans descended on Fenway Park for the jam band's two night stand, they left behind more than just good vibes.

Boston police officers recovered 67 canisters of what they believe is Nitrous Oxide outside the historic ballpark Friday night.

"Officers observed a large group of individuals inhaling Nitrous Oxide from balloons in an effort to achieve a high," officials said in a release. "The balloons were being filled using various canisters and subsequently discarded in the street and sidewalk."
