Police: Sailboat Overturned On Charles River Saturday

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police responded the reports of an overturned sailboat on the Charles River Saturday.

According to Massachusetts State Police, two people went overboard when the boat capsized.

The two individuals had already been taken to the shore by the time authorities arrived on the scene. Community Boating, a not-for-profit corporation in Boston, retrieved the sailboat.

Officials said that there were high winds on the river at the time of the incident.
