WELLESLEY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — State Police said a Sharon man was arrested on Wednesday after a wild chase along I-95 and Route 9 in a stolen Amazon delivery van.

The arrested man, identified as Cameron Mignon, allegedly stole the van in Norwood at around 6:35 PM on Wednesday, before getting onto I-95 North. State Police joined the chase as the van neared Route 9, and got on the west-bound exit.

State police said Mignon hit a Needham Police cruiser with the van during the chase, and that they blew out one of the van's tires with a spike strip before it eventually came to a stop on Glenbrook Road in Wellesley, where Mignon was arrested at around 7:25 PM.

The man is being charged with Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Leaving the Scene of a Crash, and Failure to Stop for Police.

State Police said Mignon would probably face more charges from local police.
