President Trump Congratulates Wrong State After Super Bowl

(WBZ NewsRadio) — After the Super Bowl on Sunday, President Donald Trump congratulated the wrong state.

In the tweet, that has since been taken down and corrected, Trump congratulated the "Great State of Kansas." The Kansas City Chiefs, the team that won Super Bowl LIV, are from Kansas City, Missouri.

Many people online corrected the mistake, including former Missouri Sen. Clair McCaskill who called Trump a "stone cold idiot."

President Trump has since put up a new tweet with the correct state. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20.

President Trump and presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg both ran political advertisements during the Super Bowl.
