President Trump Holds Rally In New Hampshire Ahead Of Election Day

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Thousands of people showed up for President Trump's rally near Manchester Regional Airport Sunday, where he touted his accomplishments and took jabs at former Vice President Joe Biden.

The President stuck to his traditional talking points, including decrying the media as "fake," and calling Biden a corrupt politician. He also discussed the issue of drug addiction in the Granite State.

"For some reason your drug problem, opioids everything else, is greater than most other states proportionately," Trump said. "And we focus very hard on New Hampshire. We got it down 19 percent, it's coming down further."

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, deaths involving prescription opioids in New Hampshire declined from 89 deaths in 2016 to 43 deaths in 2018.

Trump also spent a lot of time talking about Air Force One, which stood right beside him at the rally, and how he negotiated a better deal for a new plane.
