PROVIDENCE, R.I.— Providence College basketball star Josh Oduro led his team to a win against the Big East's fourth-ranked Creighton Bluejays Wednesday night.
But the Friar will soon have a new obligation off the court.
Oduro, a senior at Providence College, is expecting a baby boy next week, said Friars head coach Kim English.
The Friars' forward started his collegiate career at George Mason University alongside English.
When English made his move to Providence College for the start of this season, Oduro followed.
"[Oduro is] such a great person, student, father, husband, son and a really good basketball player," English told WBZ NewsRadio's Drew Moholland.
Oduro is averaging 15.9 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists this season. He scored 32 points in Providence College's comeback win against Creighton University last night.
