PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Providence, Rhode Island are investigating a homicide that occurred on Saturday.
The incident took place on Charles Street. Police said that it is "not an active shooter situation and there is no danger to the public."
The Providence Journal reports that a victim was shot at least twice in the head.
Police have warned the public to avoid the area around Charles Street.
