QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A venue in Quincy was given a $300 citation for violating the state limit on gatherings.
An outdoor wedding at the Neighborhood Club on Saturday afternoon was met with heavy rain. Management made the decision to allow attendees of the event to enter the building.
Then, the city's health department received phone calls about the event, who then dispatched inspectors who found that there were more than 25 people in the building. Some of the attendees were not wearing masks.
After the citation was given, attendees began to leave.
