QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — At around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the Quincy Police Department advised the public that the Fore River Bridge had become stuck in the open position. That bridge has since been cleared, and traffic resumed to flow.
Officials said repairs to the bridge were expected to take about an hour, and encouraged surrounding commuters to seek out alternate routes for travel.

At around 4:30 p.m., the QPD announced the issue was resolved, and the lane was reopened to traffic
