QUINCY, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Dorchester-native celebrity decided to 'stahp' at the Newport Ave Stop & Shop in Quincy to visit his first place of employment.
On Tuesday, Mark Wahlberg posted a video on Instagram where he can be seen bagging groceries, much to the surprise of customers.
"Right here, this is where the whole hustle started. 1998 I was working at this Stop & Shop, I was bagging groceries, $3.75 an hour. I'm going to see if I can get my job back," Wahlberg said.
The star of movies like the Departed, Ted, and Father Stu was met with hugs and smiles from the locals, and posed for a number of photos with lucky fans.
