CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — As always, the Boston Marathon is a race that draws celebrities to the area to either run the course, take in the festivities along the sidelines, or perform on stage? That’s what happened on one college campus at least.
The rapper T Pain performed early this Monday morning at Boston College after flying all the way in from the Coachella music festival in California.
Out of state BC students were more excited for the legendary rapper’s performance on their campus while the more local students, who understand and appreciate the cultural impact of the marathon, were more interested in watching the race.
“I would like to watch the marathon!” said one student.
“I’d rather watch T Pain,” said another.
“The Boston Marathon is ICONIC!” a group of students exclaimed.
